About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Space Command is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive continuing education and medical training services for Buckley Space Force Base (BSFB) firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and paramedics. The contract involves delivering advanced life support (ALS) training, including monthly continuing education units (CEUs), intravenous (IV) training, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses. Key requirements include certifying 46 firefighters and 911 dispatchers in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) every two years, with all training conducted during normal duty hours (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM MT, Monday-Friday). The pre-solicitation notice was posted on December 11, 2024, with responses due by January 6, 2025, and interested contractors are requested to submit a capability statement and supporting documentation for market research purposes. Evaluation will likely focus on the contractor's ability to meet specific training standards, comply with National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) requirements, and demonstrate expertise in medical training.

The contract is classified under NAICS category 611699 (All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction) with a Product Service Code (PSC) of U008 for education and training services. There is no specific set-aside designation for this opportunity, indicating it is open to all qualified contractors. The base contract will run from November 5, 2024, with provisions for four additional option years, covering comprehensive training for multiple shifts of emergency personnel. The scope of services includes delivering 36 hours of scheduled monthly CEUs, 32 hours of IV training with classroom and clinical components, and 8-hour ACLS and PALS training sessions with two-year certifications. Contractors will be required to maintain strict quality control measures, report performance metrics quarterly, and comply with base security protocols, including obtaining Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) access credentials. While specific budget details are not provided, the extensive training requirements suggest a significant contract value to support the comprehensive medical education needs of Buckley Space Force Base personnel.
