Update #2 · Latest ·

.. Awarded Vendors: NORCOM INC. Contract Award Dollar Amount: $15,464.00. Contract Award Date: 2018-09-17.

Update #1 ·

The 142nd Fighter Wing intends to sole source for the upgrade of the Document Control Automated Imaging system (DCAIS) to Norcom Inc., 21638 NE 20th Way Sammamish, WA 98074. Norcom is the manufacturer and direct seller of the system and software to the Government. The upgrade of this software will be utilized by our Logistics squadron in the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) to scan, track, and maintain electronic documents. The Norcom document control AIS interfaces with the standard base supply system currently in use at the 142nd Fighter Wing. It is our understanding that the Norcom document control AIS is certified by Air Force Network Integration Center (AFNIC) for use on standard desktop systems connected to the Air Force Network and is on the Air Force Evaluated/Approved Products List (AF E/APL). It is for these reasons that we do not expect to receive competition. Installing a new document control AIS is not cost-effective compared to performing the update. Anticipated award date is 3 September 2018.
