The upgrade scope includes procuring and installing four new Human-Machine Interface (HMI) computers running Windows 11 in the Air Traffic Control Tower and Airfield Lighting Vault, replacing three legacy ACE 2 controllers with three new ADB ACE 3 controllers, and fully integrating the ADB proprietary software so new Windows 11 computers communicate with new ACE 3 controllers to operate airfield lighting. Work is performed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, during standard business hours (7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday).

ADB Safegate certification is a mandatory requirement. Vendors must hold approved third-party partner status with proper certifications and licenses to install ADB equipment and software. All hardware must comply with DISA's Approved Products List Integrated Tracking System (APLITS); all software must be configured to latest SCAP benchmarks and patched to pass NESSUS security vulnerability scans. The scope of this requirement includes, but is not limited to:

  • HMI Computers: Procuring and installing four (4) new Human-Machine Interface (HMI) computers capable of running Windows 11, to be located in the Air Traffic Control Tower and the Airfield Lighting Vault.

  • Controllers: Upgrading the vault infrastructure by replacing three (3) legacy ACE 2 controllers with three (3) new proprietary ADB ACE 3 controllers.

  • Integration: Installing, programming, and fully integrating the ADB proprietary software so the new Windows 11 computers successfully communicate with the new ACE 3 controllers to operate the airfield lighting.

1. ADB Certification (Mandatory Requirement):
Are you an approved and certified ADB Safegate third-party partner?

3. Warranty & Technical Support:
If awarded this contract, what standard manufacturer warranty do you provide for the hardware (computers and controllers), and what are your capabilities for providing standard business-hour and emergency hotline support for the software/system post-installation?
