About this opportunity
Air Education and Training Command is conducting market research through a sources-sought notice to identify potential suppliers for an integrated compressed air system installation at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, with responses due by 2:00 PM CDT on August 10, 2026. This is a sources-sought announcement only and does not constitute a solicitation or promise of future procurement; responses are for market research purposes and cannot form a binding contract.
The system comprises a rotary screw air compressor (minimum 50 HP, delivering 225 CFM at 125 PSIG), an industrial refrigerated air dryer (minimum 225 SCFM capacity), and an air receiver tank (minimum 200 gallons, 200 PSIG MAWP). All equipment operates on 460V AC, 3-phase, 60 Hz power and must fit within an 11-foot by 12-foot rectangular footprint in Room 109, Building 4301. The compressor requires a full sound enclosure if rated 70 dBA or above. Installation includes approximately 40 feet of 1.5-inch piping for inter-component and facility connections, 25 feet of 0.5-inch drainage piping, integrated pre- and post-filtration with auto-drains, and connection to an existing hard-line plumbing point at approximately 13 feet high on the west wall. The air receiver tank must incorporate an automatic or zero-loss condensate drain and an ASME-rated pressure relief valve with pressure gauge. The scope includes removal of existing equipment, provision of a 5-year major component warranty with machine manuals, power-on and function training. The government will handle equipment offloading and disposal of existing components not designated for reuse.
Interested parties should submit responses via email to markos.mendoza@us.af.mil, kristopher.kostenko@us.af.mil, and kimberley.alvarez.1@us.af.mil, and confirm receipt prior to the deadline with the points of contact listed in the notice.
