The U.S. Department of Navy, Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Contracting Division intends to enter into a sole source contract with AIP Publishing Inc. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for the award of AIP Online Library Platform Subscription. This is the renewal of annual subscription to which AIP Publishing holds the copyright to the information. These are intellectual property rights which can only be provided by AIP Publishing.

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. A solicitation will not be posted; however, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days of publication of this announcement. Any submitted capability statement, proposal, quotation, or supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received shall be considered by the agency; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
