About this opportunity

The key points from the federal contract opportunity notice are:

  1. The contract is for AGOL (ArcGIS Online) Data Storage and Support Services for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG).

  2. The contract includes the following requirements:

    • Advantage Program-Advisor Services
    • Integrated Support
    • 12 IT Professional Services Sprints
    • Activation of the Premium Data Store feature in the USCG ArcGIS Online environment
  3. The contract is an intent to bundle requirements, with no set-aside used.

  4. The contract will be awarded on 2024-10-31 to an unknown vendor for an unknown amount.

  5. The associated government file is a Determination and Findings (D&F) document that explains the rationale for consolidating two existing AGOL data storage and support services contracts into a single GSA order. The D&F states that market research concluded there is only one commercial source capable of providing the proprietary data storage solution, so the requirement will be solicited as a sole source through GSA.

  6. While the quantifiable benefits of consolidation do not meet the substantial threshold, the D&F states the benefits are critical to USCG mission success by reducing costs and enhancing resource management. The procurement strategy provides for maximum practicable participation by small businesses.
