Synopsis/Announcement/AMENDMENT (AFTAC Industry Day):
This amendment constitutes a specific CALL to the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) issued under FA7022-19-S-0001 (Special Call for Geophysical Detection and Identification Requirements). This call does not supersede the original BAA. This call solicits white papers for the specific interest areas listed under AFTAC-001, AFTAC-006 and AFTAC-008 of the BAA referenced above.
OBJECTIVES:
In order to meet warfighter requirements for tactical reporting across infrasonic and acoustic ranges, at Full Operational Capability (FOC) AFTAC will need to provide specialized analysis and fusion of geophysical data using advanced technical skills, automated processes, and specialized geophysical algorithms to detect, identify, and provide rapid reporting to Combatant Commands (CCMDs).
The following topics listed in the referenced BAA are applicable to this Industry Day, and should be referenced in all submissions:
• AFTAC-001, Geophysics and Seismology
• AFTAC-006, Enterprise Wide Integration and Architecture Modernization
• AFTAC-008, High Performance and Secure Cloud Computing, Dev Ops Solutions for Data Ingestion, Exploitation and Dissemination
Offerors are advised to review the FA7022-19-S-0001 (Special Call for Geophysical Detection and Identification Requirements) for instructions on white paper and quad chart submission as well as the attached Industry Day Notice. White papers for this specific interest area are requested no later than 15 April 2019.

Synopsis/Announcement:
This publication constitutes a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) as contemplated in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.102(d)(2) and 35.016. This open BAA is for research and development for the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) for 2019. Specific technology topics are provided in Attachment 1, page 16. A classified appendix will be provided upon request and verification of security credentials.
Acquisition Overview: The AFTAC Open BAA is a two-phase process as outlined below:
Phase I - submit a white paper and quad chart to the technical and contracting POCs listed in Attachment 1.
Phase II - if invited by the Contracting Officer, submit a full technical and cost proposal for the proposed effort.
A formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation regarding this announcement will not be issued via FBO. All instructions are provided in Attachment 1.
AFTAC reserves the right to select for award all, some, or none of the proposals in response to this announcement. White papers, quad charts, technical and cost proposals (or any other material) submitted in response to this BAA will not be returned.
