About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Alaska Region is seeking proposals for a contract to upgrade the memory in four Dell ESXi hosts in the Alaska Fire Service (AFS) server room. The goal is to allow AFS to support more concurrent virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) users and expanded virtual servers in its virtual environment. The solicitation number is 140L0224Q0036, and the response is due by August 30, 2024. The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed-price contract but may award multiple contracts if more advantageous. Offers must be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer, Michael Stewart.
This is a total small business set-aside procurement. The required deliverable is 16 Dell 32GB memory modules to upgrade the memory on the four Dell R750 servers from 512GB to 640GB per server. The place of performance is the Alaska Fire Service server room. The Government has provided the Dell service tag IDs for the servers to confirm the required memory type. The procurement points of contact are Bill Beach, Northern Alaska IT Supervisor, and John Vallejos, System Administrator.
