This classified event is designed to engage industry partners and solicit technical feedback on requirements for modernizing Very Low Frequency (VLF) receiver capabilities across multiple Department of Defense platforms. The notice targets organizations with expertise in VLF receiver technology, digital signal processing, and embedded systems. Attendance at the Industry Days is highly encouraged for qualified contractors seeking insight into an anticipated solicitation for design, development, testing, certification, and production of a modern VLF receiver. The event will feature comprehensive program presentations covering objectives, technical challenges, anticipated schedules, and contract structure details.
All discussions and presentations during the Industry Days will be conducted at the Secret classification level, requiring attendees to possess a valid Secret clearance and eligibility for program-specific information access. Interested organizations must pre-register by December 15, 2025, by submitting individual attendee information, company details, and CAGE code to Matthew Daly at matthew.daly.6@us.af.mil. The two-day event includes a full technical agenda on January 14 with presentations from multiple organizations including MITRE, NSA, JHU, and AFNWC/NCN, while January 15 features one-hour one-on-one session blocks that contractors can schedule to discuss specific requirements, ask detailed questions, or provide technical feedback. Participants should be prepared to engage in substantive technical discussions and can request specific time slots for their one-on-one sessions during registration. Logistical support including visitor access procedures, facility information, and local accommodations at the MITRE Bedford location will be provided to registered attendees.
