About this opportunity
Air Mobility Command intends to solicit eight integrated Aeromedical Evacuation Tactical Communications Kits with a response deadline of September 18, 2026 at 10:00 am CST; no set-aside is anticipated.
Each kit comprises a TUCK-19 mobile tactical networking platform, KG-250X High Assurance IP Encryptor, and SpaceX Starshield Mini Satellite Terminal (four units provided as Government-Furnished Equipment), configured for dual-enclave NIPR and SIPR functionality. The kits must deliver ruggedized mobile network routing with automated PACE failover across 5G cellular, Wi-Fi, and LEO satellite transport; NSA-approved Type-1 encryption; MANTLE Automation Suite with GUI-driven configuration; and a lightweight design of 12–13 pounds suitable for tactical austere operations. The automated PACE failover is identified as non-discretionary to enable medical crews to focus on patient care without manual network configuration.
Initial delivery occurs to US Army SNOC, Joint Base McDill, New Jersey within 365 days of contract award (anticipated by September 30, 2026) for system programming and configuration. Following configuration, four kits deploy to Travis AFB (60th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron) and four to Scott AFB (375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron).
The contractor shall provide customer service support, monthly logistics and production updates, training documentation, and four in-person training days leverageable over 12 months post-delivery. NAICS 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) applies with a $34 million annual revenue size standard. Small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, women-owned small businesses, HUBZone firms, and 8(a) companies are encouraged to respond. Submit capability statements (up to 10 pages), business information, CAGE Code, UEI Number, available contract vehicles, and statement of intent to Lauren Thoele (lauren.thoele@us.af.mil) or Kristy Daugherty (kristy.daugherty@us.af.mil).
