About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command (AFCYBER) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive readiness analysis and support services for its A3 Operations Directorate. The primary objective is to assist in analyzing operational readiness of cyber forces, monitor unit readiness reporting, and develop actionable recommendations to address capability gaps. Contractors must possess a TS/SCI security clearance and have a minimum of two years experience with Joint Cyber Command and Control Readiness (JCC2-R), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), and DCAPES systems. The work will be performed at Joint Base San Antonio, TX, with potential travel to various military installations including Ft. Meade, Washington DC, Ft. Eisenhower, and Hurlburt Field. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on January 31, 2025, with responses due by February 15, 2025, indicating a relatively tight timeline for potential bidders.
The contract opportunity is designated as a Competitive 8(a) set-aside, which means it is specifically targeted for small businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The contract will be for a 12-month base period with four additional 12-month option periods and a potential 6-month extension, beginning March 1, 2025. While specific award values are not disclosed, the contract will require the selected contractor to manage critical readiness reporting systems, develop analysis products, and prepare briefing materials for senior leadership. The contractor will be expected to work standard business hours Monday through Friday and submit monthly status reports detailing their activities and findings. Key personnel will need to demonstrate expertise in cyber readiness reporting and have the ability to provide executable courses of action to enhance operational capabilities across AFCYBER and USCYBERCOM.
