About this opportunity
The U.S. Air Force Academy is seeking Advisory and Assistance services for the Center for Character and Leadership Development (CCLD), focusing on Assessment Analysis, Institutional Events Support, Experiential-Based Learning Facilitation, Professional Development, and Strategic Communication. The procurement aims to support the CCLD's mission of developing Leaders of Character for the nation, with a draft Performance Work Statement already developed. Interested businesses must submit a capabilities package demonstrating their ability to meet the requirements, which should not exceed 5 pages and include details about company size, business status, teaming arrangements, and similar past performance. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and can submit responses electronically to Edna T. Hakenson and Heather Bunnell by December 18, 2024. The government will conduct market research to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic categories of potential sources.
The opportunity is being considered under a small business set-aside program with the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code 541990, which has a size standard of $19.5 million. Services are currently being provided under the existing contract FA7000-21-C-0033, and the new contract will include a 12-month base period with four one-year option periods. The procurement will require key personnel including assessment analysts, event planners, experiential learning facilitators, strategic communications specialists, and program facilitators. The contract will support critical activities such as the National Character and Leadership Symposium and management of experiential learning programs at the Outdoor Leadership Complex. While no specific award value is mentioned, the size standard and complexity of services suggest a substantial contract opportunity for businesses capable of meeting the comprehensive requirements of the U.S. Air Force Academy's leadership development needs.
