About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Armaments Center at Picatinny Arsenal, is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing acoustic wall panels for their large Atrium facility. The Atrium measures 45' wide by 55' deep and 56' tall, requiring panels to dampen sound effectively. This is a Request for Information (RFI) to gauge vendor capabilities, with a clear disclaimer that this is not a formal solicitation and does not guarantee a contract award. Potential vendors are requested to submit detailed capabilities statements, including previous contract experience, point of contact information, company details, and business size classification. The applicable NAICS code is 339999/444180 with a small business size standard of maximum 500 employees, and businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond.

The pre-solicitation notice does not specify a set-aside designation, and no incumbent contractors are mentioned. While no specific award value or budget range is provided, vendors must submit their responses by May 9, 2025, to the designated email contacts: Malgorzata.stroynowski.civ@army.mil and joseph.j.lewis24.civ@army.mil. Respondents are required to provide comprehensive information including their CAGE Code, DUNS number, business size, and previous contract details demonstrating their capability to meet the acoustic panel requirements. Electronic submissions are preferred, and responses will be collected at no cost to the government. The Product Service Code for this opportunity is 5410 (Prefabricated Structures and Scaffolding), and while this is currently a market research effort, potential future solicitations may be synopsized on the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE).
