About this opportunity
The Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Division D published this Special Notice to provide regular industry updates regarding known competitive acquisitions. This notice is explicitly not a solicitation, request for proposal, or request for quote, and contractors are instructed not to submit formal proposals or quotes in response to these postings. The notice was originally posted on April 4, 2018, and has been updated periodically since that date. The government will not reimburse contractors for any feedback, questions, or documentation provided in response to these updates. All information contained in the postings is subject to change at any time, and all projects and procurements are subject to cancellation without notice. The Army emphasizes that interested parties must avoid contacting the requiring activity directly to prevent organizational conflicts of interest that could preclude them from participating in future acquisitions.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to improve communication with industry stakeholders by providing visibility into upcoming contract opportunities while maintaining the integrity of the source selection process. Contractors may submit up to five questions per update within seven calendar days of the posting date through the designated submission method on FedBizOpps.gov, though the government will not answer source selection or procurement-sensitive questions. There are no specific eligibility criteria mentioned for contractors to participate in these informational updates; rather, the updates serve as a preliminary notification mechanism for various federal contract opportunities managed by Division D. The notice provides overviews of multiple contract opportunities across different Army organizations, including support services for evaluation centers, training models, weapons systems, protective equipment, and facility maintenance services, with estimated contract values ranging from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars and performance periods typically spanning five to ten years.
