The evaluation will likely consider the organization's medical expertise, operational capabilities, and experience in law enforcement medical support environments.
The procurement is not set aside for any specific business category, though small businesses are encouraged to apply with provisions for teaming arrangements. While the specific incumbent is not explicitly named in the documents, Johns Hopkins University is referenced as a potential provider of emergency medicine physicians for specific campaign-related medical support. The contract is structured as a firm fixed-price effort with a one-year base period and four option periods, targeting medical support services for the Secret Service. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 621111 (Offices of Physicians), and respondents must demonstrate they will expend at least 50% of personnel costs on their own employees. The contract will involve providing medical support for high-stakes environments, including presidential campaign protection and national special security events, with physicians expected to be board-certified and experienced in law enforcement medical support.
