About this opportunity

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is seeking to procure the renewal of the AASHTOWARE Bridge Management (BrM) software package and associated maintenance and support. The BrM software is the only commercially available product that meets the FHWA's specific requirements, including long-range forecasting for National Park Service bridge needs and regional bridge priority lists. The FHWA intends to conduct this as a sole source procurement from the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), the developer of the BrM software. All responsible sources may submit a quotation within 15 days of the posting date, which the agency will consider.

This is an unrestricted solicitation with no set-aside designation. The FHWA has justified the sole source procurement based on the BrM software being the only commercially available product that meets their requirements. The contract will be awarded under simplified acquisition procedures, with a value likely under $250,000. The performance location is the United States.
