About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 4 is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Notice for Patient Digital Display Boards to be delivered to the Abie Abraham VA Healthcare Center in Butler, Pennsylvania. The procurement seeks qualified sources capable of providing six 55-inch digital non-touch poster kiosks with specific technical requirements including Android 11 operating system, LCD screens, dual 8W speakers, caster wheels, Windows Media Player software, and 18-inch HDMI cables. Contractors must participate in a kickoff meeting within 10 days of task order issuance and coordinate all deliveries with VA standards, with no direct deliveries accepted. This is strictly a market research effort under NAICS code 339950 (Sign Manufacturing) with responses due by 1:00 PM EST on August 6, 2025, and will not result in contract awards or evaluation letters to respondents. All responses must be submitted electronically to Contract Specialist McDaniel Brayboy III, and interested parties must provide detailed business information including size status, manufacturing capabilities, and subcontracting arrangements.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and no incumbent contractors are identified in the notice. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed, the VA requests general pricing information for market research purposes only, emphasizing that such pricing will not be used for evaluation or award decisions. The requirement involves delivering six digital display units to the facility located at 353 North Duffy Road, Butler, PA 16001, with installation coordination required through the VA's interior design office. The small business size standard for the applicable NAICS code 339950 is 500 employees, and the VA is particularly interested in understanding the market landscape including manufacturer versus distributor capabilities. Contractors must provide detailed schedules for manufacturing, shipping, delivery, and installation within two weeks of any future contract award, along with complete product specifications and warranty information.
