The Special Notice seeks to fulfill requirements under Wisconsin state law by procuring signs from the only authorized entity, WisDOT. Interested contractors must demonstrate in capability statements due by January 17, 2024 how they can meet the firm fixed price contract requirements and comply with relevant laws and regulations, although the decision to not compete and proceed with WisDOT is at the agency's discretion. No other supplies or services but those from WisDOT will satisfy the need. Responses will be evaluated but a determination not to compete is solely at the government's discretion. If no other responses are received, the agency will proceed with negotiations with the single source, WisDOT.
