About this opportunity
The Air Force's 99th Contracting Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Notice to identify qualified vendors capable of providing flexible service credits for network modernization support. The procurement seeks 450 flexible service credits distributed across three technical areas: 50 units for VoSIP Call Manager installation and setup, 200 units for NIPRnet and SIPRnet VSAN installation and setup, and 200 units for VMware on-site configuration and setup. Contractors must possess a minimum Secret-level security clearance and demonstrate capability to provide engineering and installation services that strengthen technical knowledge of newly installed network products while ensuring interoperability and system continuity. Interested vendors must respond by August 14, 2025, providing company information including CAGE code, business size classification, small business certifications if applicable, required response timeframes for future quotes, and transition timelines from award to service initiation. The evaluation will focus on the contractor's ability to support the 99th Communications Squadron's network modernization objectives at Building 907 on Nellis AFB.
This opportunity does not utilize any small business set-aside designation and is open to all qualified contractors regardless of business size. The contract includes a one-year period of performance beginning from the date of signature or purchase order receipt, with all work to be conducted on-site at Nellis Air Force Base requiring access to classified networks at the Secret level. The 450 flexible service credits represent the core quantitative requirement, with the largest allocation of 400 credits dedicated to VSAN and VMware installation and configuration services. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the documentation, and no specific budget ranges or award values are disclosed in this preliminary market research phase. Contractors must comply with Operations Security guidelines and demonstrate experience with the specified network technologies to qualify for consideration in any subsequent solicitation.
