About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Rhode Island Army National Guard seeks musical instruments and supplies for the 88th Army Band, with quotations due August 10 at 5:00 PM EST and technical questions due August 5 at Noon EST. The procurement is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 339992 (Musical Instrument Manufacturing, 1,000-employee threshold) via Request for Quotation.
Place of performance is East Greenwich, Rhode Island (Camp Fogarty, Building 235). The supply requirement encompasses 43 line items including electric and acoustic guitars, brass and woodwind instruments, percussion equipment, audio systems, microphones, stands, reeds, and custom drum heads. Custom drumheads must be produced in three sizes (26", 22", and 18") for the 88th Army Band, Battle Rhythm, and Coyote Brass, with centered logos in tone-on-tone or single-color print only—no full-color graphics permitted. All graphics require Government approval via mockup before production commences, and production cannot begin until written approval is received. The vendor must coordinate with the Government point of contact post-award on customized graphic application. Only new items are permitted; refurbished, remanufactured, or gray market items are prohibited.
The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to the lowest priced eligible, responsive offeror. Delivery is required no later than 120 days after receipt of order to Camp Fogarty on FOB Destination basis. All costs including delivery must be included in quotes; no additional contract line items beyond the CLIN structure are permitted. All vendors must be registered in SAM.gov and complete annual representations and certifications electronically. The Government is exempt from Federal, State, and Local taxes. Payment will be made through Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF). FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions effective July 1, 2026 apply.
