About this opportunity

The US Geological Survey Astrogeology Science Center is conducting market research to identify qualified sources for annual license renewal and technical support services for BAE Systems SOCET GXP eXtreme Analysis Bundle UE software and associated modules, or fully compatible equivalent solutions. The USGS requires maintenance and subscription renewal for multiple perpetual node-locked licenses including SOCET SET Core UE, SOCET SET Stereo UE, and various specialized modules such as ITE, MST, ATE, NGATE Add-on, FF, Ortho, ASM, and APM UE. Qualified vendors must be authorized resellers of BAE Systems products or provide equivalent solutions that demonstrate full compatibility, including the ability to import/export SOCET GXP project files without data loss and integrate with existing Python and ISIS3 pipelines on Windows and RHEL systems. The evaluation will focus on corporate data, authorized reseller status, technical capabilities, past performance examples, delivery schedules, and pricing information. Responses are limited to five pages in PDF format under 10 MB and must be submitted to Joel Berberena at jberberena@usgs.gov by August 9, 2025.

This opportunity does not include any set-aside designation and is open to all qualified businesses, though the agency has expressed particular interest in small business participation. BAE Systems appears to be the incumbent provider of the SOCET GXP software that requires renewal and support services. The contract covers multiple license quantities ranging from 3-4 units for each software module type, with the base period of performance running from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026, and includes potential option years for extended services. Vendors must provide comprehensive maintenance entitlements including access to patches, upgrades, and security updates, along with unlimited technical support via email and phone during business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain Time. The agency requires updated license keys to be delivered no later than September 15, 2025 to ensure continuity of operations. Interested vendors must provide rough-order-of-magnitude pricing for the base year plus four option years as part of their market research response.
