About this opportunity
The Special Notice is issued by the Department of the Air Force's Air Combat Command for the procurement of Flock License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras and associated services for Langley Air Force Base. The notice indicates the government's intent to award a single-source purchase order to ThunderCat Technology, the sole GSA contract holder for the Flock LPR system, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the public of the government's plan to acquire the Flock LPR system, which is currently installed and operational at Ft. Eustis, for Langley AFB. The unique features of the Flock system, including its "Visual Search" capabilities and integration with over 400 cameras in the surrounding area, make it the ideal choice to meet the security requirements of the installation. Contractors interested in this opportunity should contact Ms. Luann Henry at luann.henry@us.af.mil.
