Update #2 · Latest ·

The National Institutes of Health intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for Stellenbosch Nanofiber Company.

The National Institutes of Health NIH/NEI needs to obtain a contract for Scientific Medical instruments HESKA DRI-CHEM 7000 Chemistry Analyzers and Element HT5 Analyzers. These units are custom explicitly designed and programed by the manufacturer.
The HESKA DRI-CHEM 7000 analyzes blood, urine, and stool chemistry tests, which signal the possible presence of disease. The Element HT5 Analyzers provides a five-part white blood cell differential as well as red blood cell and platelet parameters using laser, impedance, and colorimetric technologies. Having the capability of running the above samples in-house allows for the veterinarian to diagnose and treat immediately, potentially providing life-saving therapies to our valuable research animals.
