Added: Aug 09, 2014 7:54 am This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The 409th CSB, RCO Stuttgart anticipates a requirement for the DISA-Europe for a new vehicle. Van must be 2014 or newer standard size 7 Passenger, 5 Door, Gasoline Engine, Front Wheel Drive, Automatic, ABS, Power Steering, 70 Liter Fuel Capacity, Full Size Spare, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Windows, Mirrors, Remote Keyless Entry, Adjustable Steering, Fog Lights, Safety: Vehicle must meet NCAP 4 star or equivalent.. Delivery will be made to Patch Barracks, Stuttgart Germany. Anticipated delivery date will be within 30 days of award. Anticipated award date is 26 August 2014. This is an unrestricted full and open competitive acquisition. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This will be a brand name or equal to Volkswagen Multivan Comfortline 2.0 l TSI. Solicitation No: W91WFU-14-T-0022 will be issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 441110 and an FSC of 2310. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov to be eligible for award to include German vendors. Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF to include German vendors, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. Information concerning this solicitation will be issued electronically and posted on or about 11 Aug 2014 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, or e-mail.
