About this opportunity

The General Services Administration Public Buildings Service Region 9 awarded a 5-year lease extension valued at $1,927,290 to Taylon Yakima LLC on August 25, 2026, for 11,337 rentable square feet at 415 N 3rd St., Yakima, WA, to house U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service operations.

The extension term runs October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2031, under existing lease LWA07319. The award was made without full and open competition; justification for other than full and open competition was approved July 2, 2026. The contracting action qualifies under the Simplified Lease Acquisition Threshold and is supported by GSAR 570.405. The government justified the extension on mission necessity—USCIS requires continuity of presence in Yakima to support immigration and naturalization activities, and unexpected delays outside government control exist in acquiring replacement space. The lease includes 14 parking spaces.
