About this opportunity

Summary:

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing a pre-solicitation market survey for geophysical and geotechnical services to support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency's cross-border tunnel detection and remediation efforts along the southern border. The market survey seeks statements of interest, capabilities, and rough cost estimates from businesses capable of providing the required services outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW includes the specific requirements for two (2) Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) System packages, which must be delivered within 84 calendar days of award with a minimum 12-month warranty. Respondents are encouraged to provide comments on the government's approach and to indicate whether they can perform all of the requirements in the SOW.

The competition type for the potential acquisition has not yet been determined, and the FAA may decide to set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or 8(a) certified firms. Interested vendors are required to submit a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. The market survey responses will be used to determine if adequate competition exists among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or 8(a) certified firms to set aside the potential acquisition.
