CONTINUATION PAGE

The solicitation calls out a modern, web-based continuous monitoring solution. To that end, is a Cloud-based solution acceptable or is there a preference for a pre-approved, Enterprise-level, server-based solution that also provides web-based access?

Cloud-based is not approved for this solicitation; this was discussed with local Information Security Officer prior to solicitation and externally-hosted cloud solutions would not be approved. The solution would have to be a locally-hosted server (on-site; VM preferred) that end-users could access from facility workstations via their web-browser.

Is TRM/VIPR approval required to be on the VA network or to utilize it in any way?

TRM approval is required.

Can floorplans be provided for the primary site and the CBOC s?

We can provide floorplans. Let me know when/where I should send them.

Is an equipment list available that identifies quantities of specific types of equipment by site, location, etc.?

Line 3 of the price/cost schedule (B.2) indicates approximate number of fridges/freezers that need to be monitored

Line 8 of the price/cost schedule (B.2) indicates approximate number of rooms that need to be monitored

Lines 7, 10, 12, 13 for specialized equipment

Will there be a room for the contractor to store materials?

Dependent upon how much storage space is required. We can hold approximately one pallet of equipment, but any more would have to be held by the contractor.

What are the hours of operation for the installation of the equipment?

Normal hours: 8:00AM 4:30PM Weekdays

Will contractors be issued badges to get around the hospital or will a escort be provided?

Escort will be provided during installation of this equipment.
