The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 23, seeks quotation for a molecular assay analyzer and uninterruptible power supply for the Iowa City VA Health Care System, with responses due June 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. CST and technical questions due June 22, 2026. The analyzer must be a random-access multiplex testing platform capable of quantitative, semi-quantitative, or qualitative determination of multiple pathogens including Hepatitis C Virus, HIV-1, high-risk Human Papillomavirus, sexually transmitted infection panels (Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhea, Trichomonas vaginalis, Mycoplasma genitalium), respiratory panels (SARS-COV-2, Influenza A and B, Respiratory Syncytial Virus), Herpes Simplex Virus 1 & 2, and Varicella Zoster Virus. The analyzer must achieve minimum throughput of 300 tests per 8-hour shift, be compatible with SurePath collection devices, support load-on-the-fly capabilities, accommodate multiple tube and vial sizes, feature liquid level sensing and clot detection, maintain a footprint not exceeding 100" L x 42" W x 76" H, and interface with Vista and Oracle laboratory information systems or Data Innovations middleware. Performance period runs July 6 through September 6, 2026, with delivery by September 6, 2026. The contract is firm fixed price. Offerors must be registered in SAM at time of offer and submit a signed Buy American Act certificate. Evaluation weighs technical specifications, past performance, delivery schedule, and veterans involvement (with preference for service-disabled veteran-owned and veteran-owned small businesses) as significantly more important than price. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation information is being requested.

Solicitation number 36C26326Q0846 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).

This procurement is Full and Open Competition. Prospective offerors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at time of offer to the Government (https://www.sam.gov).
