This is a market research notice only and does not constitute a solicitation or obligation to award a contract.
The requested reagents enable simultaneous profiling of chromatin accessibility (ATAC-seq) and 3' gene expression (RNA-seq) from single cell nuclei for gene regulatory network analysis, cell type and state annotation, and development and disease research applications. Specific items sought include Epi Multiome assays (16 samples), Epi Multiome assays (4 samples in two separate orders), and Epi Multiome Chip Kits (4 chips). Work is performed at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468.
The VA seeks information from qualified manufacturers, distributors, or equivalent solution providers. Responses should address business size status and classifications (SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, WOSB, or large business), manufacturing or distribution capability, subcontracting arrangements, existing federal contract vehicles (GSA FSS, NASA SEWP, or others), pricing for market research purposes, capabilities documentation demonstrating equivalency to specified items, domestic versus foreign manufacturing origin, and SAM.gov Unique Entity ID. Primary Applications:
Gene Regulatory Network Analysis: Maps how open chromatin regions, enhancers, and promoters control specific gene expression patterns.
Cell Type and State Annotation: Improve resolution when identifying complex, rare, or heterogeneous cell populations by combining two layers of molecular data.
Development and Disease Research: Track cellular differentiation pathways and identify drivers of diseases by observing genomic and transcriptomic changes concurrently.
Contractor is to provide the following reagent bundles and kits that are compatible with the Chromium X Series Chip Holder (PN-300598), the Chromium X is currently in use at the VA laboratory:
Contractors shall provide the delivery of the requested reagents for Genetic Sequencing.
