About this opportunity

The BPA, established under GSA schedule contract 36F79723D0119, will provide nine Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) systems with an estimated total value of $836,453.75 covering a base year and four option years. The contract, valued at an initial base year price of $167,290.75, requires the contractor to provide on-site NPWT pumps, manage distribution, servicing, and retrieval within 24-hour timeframes, and support inpatient wound care needs at the VA Long Beach Health Care System. The procurement was conducted without competition, with a waiver justified based on KCI being the only vendor meeting all required salient characteristics, including an essential instillation therapy option.
