The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates soliciting quotes and subsequently awarding a contract for a project titled Automated Urinalysis Instrumentation . Any acquisition that follows this pre-solicitation notice will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and other applicable regulations. The solicitation will be advertised as Full and Open Competition. It is the intent of the Department of Veterans Affairs to establish a contract for Automated Urinalysis Instrumentation. The contract shall be Cost per Test (CPT)/ Cost per Reportable Result (CPRR), Clinical Laboratory Analyzers. Location will be VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV 89502. The government intends to award one firm fixed price contract with a base year and four one-year options.
