About this opportunity

The VA intends to use this market research to establish sources and define procurement strategy—including whether to pursue a set-aside, sole source, or unrestricted approach—before posting a formal solicitation.

Place of performance is Olin E. Teague Medical Center, GI Care Area, Temple, Texas. The required stretchers must include XPS siderails, quad wheel/steer-lock capability, XPS knee Gatch bolster mattress, lithium-ion battery, compatibility with both Power-LOAD powered cot fasteners and Performance-LOAD manual fasteners, IV pole (3-stage), O2 bottle holder, head section X-restraint, head end storage, knee Gatch/Trendelenburg, and equipment hook. Shipping and receipt are estimated at 120 days from award; the facility will handle equipment assembly and trash removal.

Respondents should provide business name and address, point of contact, SAM UID, NAICS code, business size and type (with particular interest in Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone, or WOSB designations), proof of OEM authorization for distributors, applicable GSA or VA Federal Supply Schedule contract numbers, manufacturing location (with U.S. manufacturing preference noted), and estimated market research pricing.
