The Minneapolis VAHCS seeks ten Miqus Hybrid Standard Lens cameras (brand name or equal) with associated cables, power kits, inverter and host cables, ethernet cables, and THEIA Markerless software with annual non-academic subscription. Equipment must be delivered to Minneapolis, Minnesota within 90 days of contract award. Requirements include a 2-year warranty, 2-year hardware and software support with phone and online assistance, and on-site training by Qualisys for one to two technicians over three days. The clinical application is gait analysis and assessment within the prosthetics department.

The Minneapolis Medical Center requires Motion Capture Camera Supplies and accessories with the Salient Characteristics listed below.
This is a Sources Sought Notice looking for businesses to provide the supplies listed below for market research purposes.
No award of a contract will be made from this announcement.
If you are a vendor that can provide the requested information above and required supplies described below with competitive pricing, send your information (to include your organization's Unique Entity Identifier number) with a description of proof of capability to: joseph.bloomer@va.gov on or before May 29th, 2026.
Only emailed responses will be considered.
Additionally, please provide answers as appropriate to the following questions in the table below with your response to this sources sought.
Failure to respond to the following questions may affect the acquisition strategy.

Identify your organization's socio-economic category.
2.
Identify if your organization is the manufacturer of the requested supplies. If you are not the manufacturer, identify the manufacturer of the supplies that you will provide, their socio-economic category and a letter showing that your organization is an authorized distributor for the requested supplies.Â
3.
Fill out the certificate under FAR Provision 52.225-2(b), identifying the item and its country of origin. ( https://www.acquisition.gov/far/part-52#FAR_52_225_2__d3401e52). If the product is a US domestic end product, write in USA for the item's country of origin.
4.
State whether any of the requested supplies may be ordered against a government contract awarded to your organization (e.g Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), General Services Administration (GSA), etc.).

STATEMENT OF WORK
Minneapolis VAHCS Motion Analysis Cameras and Software
GENERAL INFORMATION
Procure new Motion Analysis Cameras to enhance current clinical gait analysis and assessments within the prosthetics department, along with other departments within the hospital.
SCOPE
The Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Health Care System (MVAHCS) has a need to update its current motion capture cameras and software. MVAHCS, is requesting the procurement of equipment to provide faster, more in-depth gait analysis. The current camera system although effective is also too time consuming to be utilized during clinical sessions, where we only have a few minutes with the patients. The new system and software will speed up the motion capture process, which will an improved Veteran experience during the gait analysis patient visits. The new software is required to run the new camera system and will also serve as an upgrade for our current motion analysis system. The cameras shall be installed in the same space as the previous cameras and work in conjunction with the current system and capabilities. The equipment shall be able to be installed in the previous unit s footprint and work with the existing Motion Capture Laboratories setups.
