The procurement involves the supply and installation of lift systems to replace existing ARJO tracks with new Handicare tracks across multiple VA facilities in Gainesville and Lake City, Florida. Key requirements include supplying 20 new track lift systems (19 for the Continuing Long-term Care area and 1 for the CDSU), 235 Handicare 625-pound single cassette lift motors with installation and removal of existing motors, and 15 bariatric 1000-pound lift motors for additional VA locations. The solicitation closing date has been extended to January 6, 2026, at 4:30 PM EST to allow vendors adequate time to review detailed specifications and vendor question responses. A subsequent amendment containing Questions and Answers addressing 12 vendor inquiries has been posted to provide clarification on procurement details and installation requirements.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and is open to all qualified vendors. The specific installation areas feature concrete deck ceilings with suspended tiles approximately 3 feet from the structural deck, with lifts designed as standard H-design single cassette units that do not extend into restrooms. The solicitation includes detailed technical specifications regarding lift capacity, installation scope, and site conditions across the Veterans Health System facilities. While no specific award value is disclosed in the notice, the scope encompasses comprehensive equipment supply, motor replacement, and installation services across multiple VA medical centers and clinics. The places of performance are located in Gainesville, FL 32608 and Lake City, Florida, with additional work required at the Malcom Randall VA and the Sergeant Boots VA Clinic in Tallahassee.
