About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a Sources Sought Notice for an MRI Infusion Pump System procurement under NAICS Code 339113 for Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. This pre-solicitation notice is designed to identify potential qualified vendors capable of providing medical equipment and installation services, with a size standard of 800 employees or less. Interested companies must submit a comprehensive capabilities statement via email to danita.webster1@va.gov by April 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM CST. The evaluation criteria will focus on past performance documentation, proof of specific service installations, and verification of technical capabilities. Respondents must provide detailed company information including their Unique Entity ID, contact details, socioeconomic status, and references demonstrating successful prior contract work.

The procurement does not have a specific set-aside designation, allowing participation from various business types including small businesses, disadvantaged businesses, HUBZone firms, and veteran-owned enterprises. While no incumbent contractor is mentioned, the notice indicates the government intends to award a single contract for the MRI Infusion Pump System. No specific budget range or precise contract value is disclosed in the current documentation. The procurement appears focused on identifying vendors capable of supplying and potentially installing medical equipment at the Tulsa Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Oklahoma. Respondents must ensure their capabilities statement includes comprehensive proof of past performance, with a clear emphasis on negative performance being disqualifying under the Contract Performance Assessment System.
