About this opportunity

The Erie VA Medical Center, part of the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 4, is seeking sources for MAC Video Laryngoscopes and related accessories through a Sources Sought notice. The procurement includes multiple McGrath MAC Video Laryngoscopes (12 units), carrying cases, battery packs, and various blade sizes in different quantities. All interested parties must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and provide company information including their Unique Entity ID, CAGE Code, and Tax ID Number in their responses. Responses are due by April 24, 2026. While the government has not yet issued a formal solicitation, it reserves the right to do so at a later date, and all brand-name references in the notice are provided solely for descriptive purposes and should be treated as performance benchmarks rather than requirements for specific products.

This opportunity carries no set-aside designation; however, the contracting officer may restrict competition to small business concerns owned and controlled by Veterans if two or more such firms are expected to submit offers at a fair and reasonable price offering best value to the government. No incumbent contractor or current award value has been identified in the notice. The procurement requires 12 complete McGrath MAC Video Laryngoscope systems (each with a carrying case and 250-minute battery pack), plus consumable supplies including one box each of Size 3 blades (50 units), Size 4 blades (50 units), and X3 blades (10 units). As this is a Sources Sought notice rather than a formal solicitation, specific evaluation criteria and contract award amounts have not yet been established.
