About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center Austin is seeking proposals for aluminum modular ramp systems and associated services for veteran beneficiaries across six Veteran Integrated Service Networks (VISNs 9, 10, 12, 15, 16, and 23). The contract will require contractors to provide comprehensive site assessments, delivery, and installation of modular ramp systems for mobility-challenged veterans who cannot negotiate stairs or require mobility devices. Qualified offerors must be verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with a Dun & Bradstreet number. The solicitation requires electronic representations and certifications, with proposals due by February 14, 2024. The procurement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside with a five-year contract period from January 2024 through January 2029. The VA plans to award two single-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts: one for the North Central region (VISNs 10, 12, 23) with a $74 million ceiling and another for the South Central region (VISNs 9, 15, 16) with a $44 million ceiling. Each contract includes a minimum guaranteed amount of $25,000 and will cover approximately 60 VA Medical Centers and Community Based Outpatient Clinics. The contract will utilize a fixed-price structure with economic price adjustments based on aluminum index rates, and contractors must provide detailed reporting, quality control, and customer satisfaction tracking. Performance locations will span multiple states across the central United States, with specific facility addresses provided in the solicitation attachments.
