About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought Notice to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying SEISMIQ PV OTW catheter-based medical devices for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. This is strictly an information-gathering notice issued for planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to award a contract. The VA is seeking sources that can provide six different models of catheters ranging from 3.5mm to 8.0mm in diameter, all with 60mm length specifications and 145cm overall dimensions. Interested vendors must submit detailed company information, including their size classification relative to NAICS 339113 (which carries an 800-employee small business size standard), manufacturing or distribution capabilities, FDA clearance status, lead times, product lifespan estimates, and general pricing information. Responses must be submitted via email to jasmine.pressley-barnard@va.gov no later than Friday, March 20, 2026 by 2:00 PM Mountain Time. The VA will review all responses to this RFI to make appropriate acquisition decisions and may subsequently issue additional RFIs, formal solicitations, or other announcements based on the information gathered.
This RFI carries no set-aside designation, and no incumbent contractor or award value information is disclosed in the notice. The VA requires two units each of the six SEISMIQ PV OTW catheter models, totaling twelve units across all sizes. Vendors are strongly encouraged to provide information regarding any applicable small business statuses, such as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), HUBZone, or Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certifications, as well as any existing federal contract holdings such as GSA schedules. The procurement is categorized under PSC 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies) and NAICS 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing). All responses to this RFI are for market research purposes only and do not constitute offers; vendors are responsible for all expenses associated with responding, and responses will not automatically qualify them for the prospective bidders list on any future formal solicitation.
