About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Long Beach Network Contracting Office is seeking sources for feeding pump equipment specifically for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System through this Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought notice. The procurement targets a Cardinal Health Kangaroo Omni Pump (Part Number 382500) or equivalent product that must meet specific salient characteristics including optimal feeding bag placement six inches above the pump, air priming capability, hydration system to prevent clogs, programmable flush intervals, 240-minute feeding session capacity, and 30-day data retention capability. Responses to this information-gathering exercise are due by September 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM PST, and must be submitted via email to the designated contracting officer.
This procurement does not include any set-aside designation and is open to all qualifying contractors regardless of business size. The RFI does not identify any incumbent contractors or specific award values, as this is strictly an information-gathering exercise to inform future acquisition decisions rather than an active solicitation. The government has requested that respondents provide general pricing information along with their capabilities statements, though no specific quantities or budget ranges have been disclosed in the notice. The timeline for actual procurement has not been established, as the VA may issue additional RFIs or formal solicitations based on the market research results from this Sources Sought notice. Vendors are being asked to provide comprehensive business information including their size status, manufacturing or distribution capabilities, federal contract history, and lead times for delivery of the specified feeding pump equipment.
