About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, is conducting market research to identify potential vendors for a specialized medical equipment procurement. The agency seeks to acquire one STERIS HEPA drying cabinet (model REL650020MU) and 18 total Olympus GI endoscopes (15 with auxiliary channels and 3 standard units). The NAICS code for this procurement is 339112 (Surgical & Medical Instrument Manufacturing), with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Only new equipment will be considered, and only authorized manufacturers, representatives, or distributors will be evaluated. The equipment must comply with ANSI/AAMI ST91:2021, AORN 2016, and SGNA guidelines, and meet specific technical requirements such as three-phase filtration, the ability to hold at least 20 scopes, and constructed from welded 304 stainless steel. The Buy American Act provisions will apply, requiring vendors to identify the country of origin for all proposed equipment.
