Intent to Sole Source: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7, hereby provides notice of its intent to make a sole-source award for a single firm-fixed price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source in conjunction with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. In accordance with FAR Part 6, contracts awarded using this authority shall be supported by a written justification and approval described in FAR 6.303 and 6.304 as applicable. The justification is included with this notice. The anticipated award will be made to Cardinal Health 414 LLC, located at 7000 Cardinal Place, Dublin OH 43017 for preparation, labor, and delivery of Miscellaneous Radiopharmaceutical for the Birmingham VA Medical Center Nuclear Medicine Services for one base year with four, one-year option periods as noted in the attached Statement of Work. The applicable NAICS code is 325412 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, authorized distributors letters, and any additional instruments showing their ability and authorization to support this requirement. Information received by 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), 11/18/2022 will be considered strictly to determine whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. A determination not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the Government's discretion.
