About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command has issued a Special Notice for a firm fixed price contract to procure deployment gear for the 64th Air Refueling Squadron (64 ARS) at Pease Air National Guard Base in New Hampshire. This is a limited source acquisition, as the government is mandated to procure these products and services from qualified non-profit agencies serving the severely disabled under the AbilityOne program.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to solicit and negotiate with INDUSTRIES FOR THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED, INC. (IBVI), the sole authorized AbilityOne Base Supply Center that carries all the required items for short-notice deployments. The deadline for contractors to express interest and capability is September 12, 2024 by 10:00 AM CST. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-5(2)(i), full and open competition is not required, and IBVI is the only eligible contractor for this requirement. If AbilityOne is unable to satisfy the agency's needs, the government will procure in the commercial market.
