About this opportunity

Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command is sole-sourcing to Unify/MCS of Tampa a one-year firm fixed price contract for Command Post System maintenance at Whiteman Air Force Base's 509th Bomb Wing, with response due October 13, 2026. The procurement is an urgent commercial service limited to a single source due to MCS's exclusive certification by the Department of the Air Force for command post system maintenance and its ability to perform remote diagnostics and corrective maintenance on the equipment serving as the command post's primary telephone system with conferencing and radio capabilities.

The contract encompasses a one-year base period (November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2027) with four one-year option periods extending through October 31, 2031. The contractor must provide a full and unlimited five-year warranty covering all hardware, software, materials, and workmanship, with 24/7 emergency technical assistance including remote dial-in and on-site response. Service response is tiered by severity: catastrophic failures (25 percent or greater circuit capability loss) require on-site arrival within two hours; major failures (loss of supervision, conference ability, or 10 percent or greater circuits) require arrival within three hours during business hours or next business day for off-hours, with restoration within 48 business hours; minor failures require response as soon as commercially reasonable within three business days.

The contractor must maintain CMMC certification at specified levels for information systems processing federal contract information. Performance occurs at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. This is a large business procurement with no set-aside.
