About this opportunity
The U.S. Army's 1st Armored Division, through the Mission Installation Contracting Command at Fort Bliss, is seeking qualified sources to provide Advanced Manufacturing Training focused on 3D printing and related technologies. This Sources Sought Notice aims to identify contractors capable of delivering comprehensive training that will enhance soldiers' knowledge and skills in current and future manufacturing methods, ultimately enabling them to become instructors and implement Army manufacturing innovations. The training must cover engineering design, CAD/CAM applications, reverse engineering, 3D scanning, post-processing techniques, non-destructive testing, and additive manufacturing machine operations, culminating in a capstone project where students design and manufacture commercial parts currently unavailable through Army supply channels. Contractors must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, and materials to conduct the training in El Paso, Texas. The evaluation criteria were not fully detailed in the provided excerpt, and interested parties have until October 20, 2025, to respond to this market research notice.
