About this opportunity
The 316th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, issued a notice of intent to sole-source airfield lighting replacement parts to ADB Safegate Americas 1 Inc., with an anticipated award date of 6 July 2026. This is a firm-fixed-price purchase order under simplified procedures (RFQ 12.201-1 and RFQ 12.102(a)) on the basis that only one responsible source exists to satisfy requirements. The contractor will supply compatible brand-name ADB Safegate replacement parts to repair critical runway and taxiway lighting damaged by snow-removal equipment. Uniformity of LED manufacturer across a single taxiway is mandated by UFC 3-353-01 Change 4, Paragraph 1-3 to prevent varying color and illumination characteristics that compromise airfield safety; since Joint Base Andrews' existing system consists entirely of ADB Safegate fixtures, ADB Safegate Americas 1 Inc. is the only source capable of providing compatible parts meeting that requirement. The procurement is NAICS 335139 (size standard 1,250 employees), PSC 6210, with a TBD delivery date. All responsible sources may submit quotations, bids, or proposals by 18 June 2026, though the Government retains sole discretion to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received. No technical data will be furnished; the requirement specifies brand-name ADB Safegate parts only.
