About this opportunity

The 21st Contracting Squadron at Peterson Space Force Base is conducting a sources-sought announcement for procurement and installation of window tint and blinds at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, with responses due by August 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time. This is total small business set-aside (NAICS 337920, 1,000-employee threshold).

Work is performed at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station in Colorado, encompassing three locations: Building 101 and Buildings 12001 and 12100. The scope includes supply and installation of solar control and security window film on approximately 152 windows totaling 3,000–3,100 square feet, plus 60 units of blinds and hardware across 158 windows of varying dimensions (ranging from 28" × 70" to 103" × 44"). Building 101 requires Premium Nano-Ceramic or Spectrally Selective Solar Film with RF/IR blocking technology incorporating Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority standards, with exterior reflectivity not exceeding 15%. Building 101 film must comply with specified ASTM glass standards for sealed insulating glass (IG) vision units. Location 2 (Buildings 12001 and 12100) requires film limiting interior viewing without restricting outward views. Contractor personnel accessing Location 2 must pass background checks and obtain proper visitor authorization for restricted areas.

Installation must occur between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding weekends and federal holidays. Contractor must submit physical film samples (10–75% visible light transmittance range), Film-to-Glass Compatibility Chart, and factory-certified Thermal Stress Analysis before installation. All work must comply with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910 and 1926) and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health standards (DAFMAN 91-203).

This is market research only; no payment will be made for information submitted. Questions are due by August 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time.
