About this opportunity
Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), a component of the Department of the Navy, intends to solicit a sole-source contract with BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services, Inc. for integrated facilities acquisition and engineering support services under FAR 6.103, with a response deadline of July 10, 2026. The Government will not conduct full and open competition; BAE Systems of Rockville, Maryland is the sole intended recipient, though the notice permits any responsible source to submit capability statements or quotations for consideration.
SSP requires technical engineering services spanning multiple programs: Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS), Strategic Weapons System (SWS), COLUMBIA/United Kingdom Successor, Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS), Nuclear Sea Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N), Nuclear Defense Enterprise Review (NDER), and Field Activity Sustainment Support System. BAE will provide technical support for integrated facilities, environmental, and explosives safety engineering. The Government asserts that BAE Systems uniquely possesses detailed understanding of coordinated interfaces between the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) system and SSP-specific shore-based facilities, as well as requisite proficiency with ongoing SLBM-specific facilities acquisition and engineering projects. Performance runs from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with four one-year renewal options extending to September 30, 2031. The contract includes provisions allowing level-of-effort increases up to 30 percent. No solicitation package is available; no dollar value or award amount is stated in this notice.
