About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Far East District (FED), issued this Special Notice to announce the postponement of the 2025 FED Industry Day originally scheduled for October 28, 2025. The notice was posted on September 4, 2025, with an initial due date of October 3, 2025. Due to the ongoing government shutdown, the event has been postponed, and a final determination regarding the new date was to be announced no later than October 20, 2025. This Special Notice represents an important communication to potential contractors and industry partners who were preparing to participate in the networking and business opportunity event. The postponement affects all companies that had begun preparing their RSVP submissions and base access documentation.
The primary objective of the original Industry Day was to provide contractors with networking opportunities with government personnel and other industry partners while learning about upcoming business opportunities with USACE-FED. The event was open to all industries, including construction, architecture and engineering, supplies and services, and related sectors, with a maximum of two individuals permitted per company. Originally, contractors were required to RSVP by October 3, 2025, and provide base access information by October 17, 2025, including valid identification and vehicle details for non-base-access personnel. The agenda was designed to cover program overviews, potential workload opportunities, design-build-to-budget initiatives, and contracting requirements including Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) implementation and SOFA compliance. With the postponement announcement, interested parties should monitor for updates regarding the rescheduled date and any revised submission deadlines.
