About this opportunity

The U.S. Secret Service is procuring two 2025 Chevrolet Express Cargo Vans with extensive custom upfitting through solicitation number 70US0925Q70092433. The vehicles require comprehensive modifications including AWD conversion, power retractable running boards, traditional sport roof, leather diamond stitch seating, heated front seats, wireless charging pads, a 32" Samsung QLED 4K Smart TV, Alpine infotainment system, and a complete black-out package. The procurement specifies detailed technical requirements including a ZW9 standard body, NC7 emissions override, L8T 6.6L V8 engine, front bucket seats, remote keyless entry, forward collision alert, and lane departure warning systems. The government will evaluate offers based on technical capability (40%), schedule (40%), and price (20%) criteria, with a firm fixed price contract anticipated. Questions must be submitted by August 11, 2025, and quotes are due by August 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM EDT.

This procurement is designated as unrestricted full and open competition with no set-aside provisions, classified under NAICS code 336991 for Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing. No incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation documents, as the agency conducted market research including GSA Fleet inquiries, internet searches, and vendor quotes to confirm multiple vendors can meet the specifications. While specific award values are not disclosed, the government intends to award a single contract covering both vehicles with an anticipated delivery timeline of six months from contract award. The vehicles must be delivered to Chappaqua, NY 10514, and must include both standard manufacturer warranty coverage and a one-year upfitting warranty. The procurement represents a brand-specific acquisition for Chevrolet Express vehicles, as GSA Fleet lacks comparable upfitted options that meet the Secret Service's specialized operational requirements.
