About this opportunity
The United States Air Force Air Combat Command, specifically the 99th Contracting Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base, is seeking sources to provide security camera services for the 2025 Aviation Nation Air Show. The opportunity involves deploying seven wireless cameras at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway parking area to monitor traffic and parking flow, with real-time video transmission to two command and control centers. Interested firms must submit a capabilities package electronically to SSgt Ruben Colon by December 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time, demonstrating technical compliance with the attached Statement of Work. Respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and submit responses with the specific email subject line "FA4861-25-SECURITY-CAMERA". The government will evaluate submissions to determine whether a future solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition or as a small business set-aside.
The pre-solicitation notice uses NAICS code 532289 (All Other Consumer Goods Rental) with a $12.5 million size standard and welcomes responses from small businesses, including 8(a), HUBZone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) firms. While no set-aside has been definitively determined, the government will consider small business participation, with a requirement that small business prime contractors perform at least 50% of the work if a set-aside is implemented. The contract requires the selected vendor to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials for camera deployment, with full operational testing required by April 3, 2025, and cameras to be operational during the Air Show on April 5-6, 2025. Respondents must indicate their size status, socio-economic classification, and disclose any foreign ownership or planned use of foreign national employees. The total contract duration appears to be limited to the air show period, with all equipment to be removed no earlier than 7 PM on April 6, 2025.
